Heya! What’s up! Again with me! Today, I came bearing gifts. Ooh, are you curious what my gifts are and what are they for? I brought 2 special gifts for 2 very special characters from 2 stories I had read and watched. I’m very excited to show it to you all! Do not fret, I will put the links to the stories at the end of this blog so you can check it out and you’ll agree on why I chose these gifts!   The first one is for Chihiro Ogino from Spirited Away , written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki (Studio Ghibli). Haku and Chihiro are very close and they ended falling in love near the end of the movie, but sadly they must go apart ways. So, I figured the dragon hair pick would the perfect gift, since it faintly reminds me of Haku, and I hope she does too!   And the second one is Elisa Allen from

I have been blinded by curiosity when I got married to my husband and now I’m unhappy, it’s not my husband but myself I have deceived… I have been deceiving myself for a long time, believing I could love him faithfully. But after meeting Dmitri Gurov, I now know where my heart belongs to. We fell into an extramarital affairs, as they say—it so wro

Hi! Back at it again with me on today's post! Today, I'm going to share you about the interesting stories I've read and listened! There will be 2 stories that I'm going to share it with you all! The first one is the listening text, titled "Sushi" and the author is ELLO. The text's genre is classified as factual and the sub-genre is recipes and food. The text level is 14.20 (approximately low-advanced) and the word count is about 200, short, right? Since this is a listening text, the audio is about a little over a minute. The text/audio is about a conversation between 2 friends, friend A is telling friend B about her sushi night with her girlfriend and they talked about different types of sushi she had tried. You must be thinking, what does this has to do with the title? Emoji? Well, I'm going to show you what emoji that represents how I think or feel listening/reading to it! Sounds interesting, right?! Here is the emoji that represents how I think ab

Hi! Welcome to my blog! Since this would be my first post here, let me tell just a bit about myself~ My name is Jesicca Levina Shannon, I came from Lampung and currently a student in Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana in Salatiga, so this blog will be filled with my class assignments! So, now that you know a bit about me, let's jump right into today's topic: English and Me. I will tell you a part of my English learning journey. I was introduced English by my parents at a very young age of 4, my parents likes putting on English channels on the TV and soon I was curious enough to ask my mother about it. It didn't take long for them to enroll me into English classes for kids. During that time, I was just curious and overall excited, since I had no serious difficulties learning that new language. That's the time I found my love and passion for English and kept learning until now. What kept me going in learning English is so that I could understand my favorite cartoon in En
